Furniture auctions take place every fortnight on a Tuesday evening, usually attracting over 1300 lots. Several times a year we have specialist sales, these include 'Mouseman and local craftsmen' 'Railway memorabilia' 'Clock and Barometers'
The auction is divided into three sections
Boxed Lots commencing at 4pm
Furniture commencing at 6pm
Collectable commencing at 5.30pm
Viewing from noon on the day of the sale.
Approximately every six weeks we hold a plant auction, Mr Richard Lambert a market gardener from Lincolnshire brings along a wide variety of plants/shrubs and trees. This auction commences at 3pm. If there is something you particularly want please let us know and we will ask Richard to bring it along!
Commission rates - 15% + vat with a minimum of £1 per lot
To enter goods you will need an account number which is used for buying and selling at any of our sales
Items are to be brought in the day before the sale (Monday)
Boxed lots and Furniture 8:30am - 1pm (Except Bank Holidays when it is 8am to 12 noon only)
Collectables 8:30am - 1pm

Boxed Lots this section includes boxes, bikes, white goods, garden tools etc...
All boxes etc... must have a sticker on with your account number - these will be provided on arrival
Boxes are not sold individually and will be put together into lots by our staff
Reserves If you would like to put a reserve on an item it must be clearly marked on a sticker attached to the item. This sticker will be removed shortly afterwards when the item is lotted up. If items do not sell they will be stored and entered into the following sale, with no reserve.
Electrical Items All electrical goods should be clean and in good working order. To comply with Trading Standards, all electrical items will be PAT tested, this is to ensure the goods are safe to use. There is a £3 charge for this, with an extra charge of £2.50 if the plug is deemed unsafe and needs to be replaced.
Unsold Goods If your goods do not sell they must be removed from the premises by 7.30pm on the day of the sale otherwise they will be disposed of. This does not apply to items with reserves.
Goods must be clearly labelled with your account number.
Condition of items Goods that are not in a clean and saleable condition will be refused
Upholstered furniture and beds must have a fire compliance label attached, although this is dependant on age so if in doubt please contact us for further details.
Unsold items items with no reserve will be disposed of at noon on Wednesday unless you advise us that the item will be collected by Friday 4pm. It is your responsibility to contact the mart to confirm whether your goods have sold. This does not apply to items with reserves
Collectables includes china, pictures, small antiques etc.

Payment can be collected on the night of the sale or alternatively it will be posted to you within 3 days
Commission rates - 10% + VAT
Payment accepted - Cash, debit card, credit card (3% surcharge on credit cards)
To bid at the auction you need an account number which can be obtained before the auction commences (ID needed)
Goods cannot be removed until they have been paid for
All items are bought 'as seen'
Electrical items are PAT tested which means they are safe to use, it does NOT mean it is in working order
All purchased items must be collected by 4pm Friday following the sale
Evening of the sale
Other times be appointment only
Delivery of goods can be arranged please speak to a member of staff on the night of the sale.
